Panic Mode

     AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

He was supposed to be in London, not at home!

I'm getting to far ahead of myself.

***

So far on our trip, we've visited many grand houses and the countryside. Derbyshire is so beautiful and I love being with my Aunt and Uncle. It's been a grand time.
The trouble started because Aunt Gardiner used to live near Pemberley, and she wanted to go. I couldn't say no to her! The maid said that everyone was gone, and Darcy wasn't planned to come until the next day.

Well, what do you think happened? As I heard the accolades of his kindness to his employees, surveying what could have been mine - he showed up. Amidst this huge mansion and divine furnishing - he showed up. Living with the guilt of hasty judgement where one man has the appearance of goodness and the other all of it - HE SHOWS UP.

It was soooo awkward.

He was so nice! We're on Darcy's property and he treats us with respect. My Aunt and Uncle are from cheapside and work in trade, yet Darcy chats with them. He asks questions and is sincere in his interest.  Darcy even invites my Uncle Gardiner to fish in his creeks and use his equipment.!

I don't totally believe that this has been a 180 change for Darcy; rather now I see him truly.
